MUSTaRD stands for MUltipurpose SimulaTion And RenDering. This is the perfect tool to connect artists to engineers. It allows one to import simulation results (generated either in Matlab/Simulink or in any Modelica-Based software) into Blender. The procedure is very simple as you can see in the figure below.
Below you can see a video of an animation rendered in Blender Cycles. The simulation results were generated with OpenModelica. The modeling effort was zero!
Once you have your simulation results in Blender, you are able to: edit materials to look more realistic, configure your own scene, add effects, change camera, animate other elements etc. The same simulation result can be reused in different ways.
